Job Description
- Provide and coordinate job placement services for graduating students in a collaborative effort with PN Program Coordinator and PN Faculty.
- Develop and provide secondary-postsecondary linkage activities and services for students enrolled in career and technical education.
- Expand a network of potential employers by collaborating and communicating with healthcare facilities, clinical affiliates, and alumni.
- Compile and communicate employment opportunities for students.
- Assist students in job search strategies.
- Communicate with alumni and employers to obtain verifiable job placement data.
- Follow-up on alumni surveys for the completion of data and distribute results to appropriate sources.
- Gather input from employers of graduates to provide information on the readiness of new graduates of the PN Program to practice as beginning practical nurses.
- Compile and complete all the necessary data of C.P.L., B.O.R.N., and State Reports.
- Compile and communicate a list of local and online colleges and universities offering LPN- RN (ADN, BSN, MSN) programs.
- Arrange for college representatives to share information about their nursing education programs.
- Other duties as required.

111 hours from December to June

Job Requirements
Prior experience in recruiting and job placement activities is preferred.
Knowledge of LPN academic preparation and employment opportunities is preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
Experience with X2 Aspen is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage survey follow-up.
