Job Description
The Arlington Public Schools seeks qualified substitute teachers to work on a per diem basis to cover for classroom teachers, special educators and specialists who are absent from the District. Pay is $100 per day in the 2019-2020 school year. We use an automated system, Frontline Technologies Absence Management, for substitute assignments.

Qualified candidates will have experience with and a love for working with children. Assignments are mostly at the elementary school and middle school levels.

Job Requirements
All newly hired employees of the District, including substitutes, must undergo a criminal background check (fingerprinting). The cost for the fingerprinting ($35 or $55 depending on DESE license status) is assumed by the individual employee, not the District.
