Part-time: Summer 2023 Extended School Year Special Education Program - Special Education Teachers for Autism Programs
Levels: Teachers needed for Preschool & Elementary classrooms
Location: Center Elementary School
Dates: July 10 - August 10, 2023
Program is Monday through Thursday (no programming on Fridays)
Teacher Hours: 7:30AM to 1:15 PM (5.75 hours/day)
Qualified candidates will provide ABA programming for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The students attend 4 or 5 hours/day. The focus of instruction is based on individual students' IEPs in order for them to review, practice and maintain previously learned skills.
- Understanding & experience teaching with the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
- Experience with discrete trial instruction
- Monitor student progress toward achievement of instructional goals and write end of ESY progress reports.
- Plan and maintain a program of instruction that is conducive to the attainment of individual students' ESY goals and objectives on their IEP.
- Facilitate and support paraprofessionals assigned to the classroom

Salary:
$30 to $30 Per Hour

- MA DESE certification as a moderate or severe special education teacher preferred
- Ability to work all 5-weeks (20-days) of the program (July 10 - August 10)
