Job Description
Chelmsford Public Schools - Announcement of Teaching Vacancies for the 2023/ 2024 school year. The Chelmsford Public Schools is now accepting applications for the following anticipated vacancy. The District reserves the right to change this vacancy or not fill this vacancy based on further staffing changes, enrollment, or budget.

Position: High School Social Science/ELA Teacher
Location: Chelmsford High School

Description: Teach students critical thinking, research, and analysis skills, working within assigned subject areas to provide optimum student service in accordance with he objectives established by the School Committee. Coordinate efforts with specialist assigned to provide specific services. Confer with families to promote a better understanding of the pupil and their environment. Assist and guide ancillary personnel. Attend meetings and prepare and maintain all related records and report reflecting activities as required or directed. Perform other duties as directed or as responsibilities necessitate. Certifications in History/Teach students critical thinking, research, and analysis skills, working within assigned subject areas to provide optimum student service in accordance with the objectives established by the School Committee. Chelmsford High School is a public high school located in Chelmsford Massachusetts, established in 1927. The school is based on a three-house system. The houses are named after Ralph Waldo Emerson, Nathaniel Hawthorne, and John Whittier, three well-known New England writers. Each house has two to three school counselors, a dean, and an office. All students are assigned a house at the beginning of their freshman year. Chelmsford High School offers opportunities in high-quality academics, community service, performing arts experiences, championship-level athletics, and mentor relationships in a technologically rich environment.

Job Requirements
Successful candidates will hold the appropriate degree and MA DESE teaching license.. Bachelor's Degree is required, Master's Degree preferred Please bring official transcripts to the hiring supervisor if interviewed in the event that you are recommended for hire.
