Work with Director of Technology and building Principals to support the integration of technology effectively into all aspects of the curriculum and program development; provide direct instruction to students; provide professional development and consultation to staff on the integration and effective use of technology.
Essential functions include: •Create technology learning resources for teachers, staff, and students •Work with school administrators and teachers to integrate technology into all aspects of the curriculum •Consult with school staff on the use of technology •Provide direct training and professional development for teachers and other professionals •Assist faculty in developing units, projects, or other educational technology applications within their curriculum. •Assist staff in classrooms with curriculum lessons requiring the use of technology •Assist students with applications as needed •WHS/WMS - Assist and support staff in WPS’ 1:1 BYOD Chromebook learning environment in their classrooms. •Elementary - Assist with the use of Chromebooks in the classroom. •Provide workshops and training for staff in educational technology skills and applications. •Assist in troubleshooting hardware and software problems. •Assist with Chromebook support for students •Other duties as assigned.

DEGREE PREFERRED:
•Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree in related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
•High level of Google Workspace for Education experience; Google Certification Preferred
•Prior teaching experience
•Relevant experience in a school setting. Extensive knowledge of state and federal standards for technology literacy, universal design for learning, and the integration of technology into the K-12 curriculum.
•Knowledge of MA Curriculum Frameworks
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
•Applicants must hold a valid Massachusetts DESE teaching license in Instructional Technology or Digital
Literacy/Computer Science
Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required |
