Job Description
TITLE: SECRETARY TO ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL - PARKER MIDDLE SCHOOL

JOB DESCRIPTION: Perform diversified secretarial, clerical and administrative duties to assure the smooth and efficient operation of the assistant principal's office. Work as part of an interactive cooperative team to provide support that ensures the office's positive impact on the daily education process.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma Post-secondary education is desirable.
  • Specialized training in secretarial and school office operation.
  • Demonstrated ability to use computers and other office technology and software including the X2 Database.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a busy setting and remain organized and effective.
  • One to three years of secretarial experience.
  • Such alternatives to the previous qualifications as may be found appropriate and acceptable to the principal.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Work year, 195 days/7 hours per day. Salary and paid holidays to be determined by collective bargaining agreement.
