The Chelmsford Public Schools is now accepting applications for the following anticipated vacancy. The District reserves the right to change this vacancy or not fill this vacancy based on further staffing changes, enrollment, or budget.
Position: Grade 7/8 World Language Teacher (Spanish)
Location: McCarthy Middle School
General Description: Teach students in academic, social and manipulative skills, working within assigned subject areas to provide optimum student services in accordance with the objectives established by the School Committee. Coordinate efforts with specialists assigned to provide additional specific services. Confer with parents to promote better understanding of the pupil and his/her environment. Assist and guide ancillary personnel. Attend meetings and prepare and maintain all related records and reports reflecting activities as required or directed. Perform other duties as directed or as responsibilities necessitate. Certification in Spanish 5-12 is required

The C. Edith McCarthy Middle School is one of two middle schools in Chelmsford. Providing education for about 940 students from grades 5-8, we are one of the largest middle schools in the Merrimack Valley.
