Title: Chemistry Teacher (1.0 FTE)
Position Summary: Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School seeks a qualified full-time (1.0 FTE) CHEMISTRY teacher, starting in the 2023-24 school year. Lincoln-Sudbury offers a comprehensive four-year Science program, which includes a core program sequence of Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, as well as an elective program.
Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to):
Teach chemistry courses as assigned
Work collaboratively with members of the Science Department and throughout the school
Serve as a positive and collaborative member of the LS community
Plan lessons that meet the individual needs, interests and abilities of the students
Create a classroom environment that is inclusive and productive, and maintain appropriate standards of classroom behavior
Provide timely and appropriate feedback to students, with progress reports as needed
Communicate with parents to discuss student progress
Pursue professional growth through activities in and out of school
Cooperate with other professional staff in supporting student learning
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred from an accredited college or university
Licensed, or eligible for licensure in the appropriate field by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education, to include Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) endorsement
Be able to teach a range of levels of Chemistry
Experience Preferred:
3 + years educational teaching environment preferred
High School teaching experience preferred
Dual certification and/or willingness to teach more than one science discipline is encouraged.
Proficiency in Google tools including Classroom, Slides, Sheets and Docs

Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School is organized in a house system.
Ninth, tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grade students are divided among four
houses. Each house is staffed by an associate principal, counselors, and a house
assistant, with access to a clinical counselor and curriculum/scheduling
support. Additional services are provided through special education.
