Title: Long-Term Substitute Math Teacher (1.0 FTE)
Position Summary:
Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School seeks a Long-Term Substitute Math Teacher for the first semester of the ‘23-’24 academic year starting August 28, 2023. The first semester concludes on or about January 24, 2024.
Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to):
Teach the depth and breadth of our college-preparatory mathematics program, including all aspects of planning, collaboration, instruction and assessment.
Serve as a positive and collaborative member of the LS community
Plan lessons that meet the individual needs, interests and abilities of the students
Create a classroom environment that is inclusive and productive, and maintains appropriate standards of classroom behavior
Provide timely and appropriate feedback to students, with progress reports as needed
Communicate with parents to discuss student progress
Pursue professional growth through activities in and out of school
Cooperate with other professional staff in supporting student learning
Fulfill other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred from an accredited college or university
Licensed, or eligible for licensure in Mathematics 8-12 by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education, to include Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) endorsement
Experience Preferred:
3 + years educational teaching environment preferred
High School teaching experience preferred

Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School is organized in a house system.
Ninth, tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grade students are divided among four
houses. Each house is staffed by an associate principal, counselors, and a house
assistant, with access to a clinical counselor and curriculum/scheduling
support. Additional services are provided through special education.
