JOB POSTING
Title: History Teacher (.5 FTE)
Position Summary: Lincoln-Sudbury Regional School District seeks a qualified half-time (.5 FTE/two classes) History Teacher for a year-long leave position.
Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to):
Serve as a positive and collaborative member of the LS community
Plans lessons that meet the individual needs, interests and abilities of the students
Creates a classroom environment that is inclusive and productive, and maintains appropriate standards of classroom behavior
Provides timely and appropriate feedback to students, with progress reports as needed
Communicates with parents to discuss student progress
Pursues professional growth through activities in and out of school
Cooperates with other professional staff in supporting student learning
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred from an accredited college or university
Licensed, or eligible for licensure in the appropriate field by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education, to include Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) endorsement
Experience Preferred:
3 + years educational teaching environment preferred
High School teaching experience preferred

Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School is organized in a house system.
Ninth, tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grade students are divided among four
houses. Each house is staffed by an associate principal, counselors, and a house
assistant, with access to a clinical counselor and curriculum/scheduling
support. Additional services are provided through special education.
The school’s core values are: fostering caring and cooperative relationships,
