Chelmsford Public Schools - Announcement of Teaching Vacancy for the 2022/2023 School Year
The Chelmsford Public Schools is now accepting applications for the following anticipated vacancy. The district reserves the right to change this vacancy or not fill this vacancy based on further staffing changes, enrollment, or budget.
Position: PT Summer Pre-K Teacher Assistant Location: Community Education Summer Program Reports to: Adult Education Program Coordinator and Director of Community Education
Description of Position: To assist in the coordination of the Community Education summer half-day Pre-K childcare program to ensure proper instruction and activities for students to increase their academic and social emotional skills. Perform various instructional, clerical and other related duties, to meet the objectives of the program.
Part time Pre-K Teacher assistant to facilitate half day childcare summer programming.
Monday through Friday AM: 8:30am to 11:30am
Beginning July 5, 2023, through August 11, 2023
Salary range based on experience and education
Performance Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To:
Assist in coordinating daily routine of activities, play time, and snacks
Provide loving care and attention to each child and promote heathy self-esteem in each child.
Maintain confidentiality
Support an education environment that is emergent, challenging, warm, inviting and is based on inquiry and play.
Excellent classroom management skills
Ability to be flexible with schedule and share communal spaces in the building.
Communicate regularly with supervisors of Chelmsford Community Education about any needs or concerns of the program
