Position: Long Term Substitute Teacher- Functional Academic Program
Location: Center Elementary School
Assignment Dates: May 15, 2023, through June 23, 2023. Dates are subject to change.
General Description: The successful candidate will assume the responsibilities of the special education teacher by instructing, assessing and managing students programing. Provide instruction in small group setting to elementary students with developmental delays. Work collaboratively with related service providers (speech, OT, PT, BCBA, etc) and paraprofessionals.

<li>Successful candidates will hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in special education from an accredited college or university
- MA DESE Teaching License-- PreK-8 Severe or Moderate Special Needs license
- Experience in modifying and adapting curriculum to assure students can access the curriculum.
- Ability to effectively consult and work collaboratively with various service providers and support staff.
- Solid organizational skills.
- Experience with IEP development is required.
- Solid understanding of the IEP process, state and federal regulations.
- Collect data to demonstrate student progress.
