Chelmsford Public Schools: Long- Term Substitute Grade 4 Teacher Vacancy.


The Chelmsford Public Schools is now accepting applications for the following opening. The district reserves the right to change this vacancy or not fill this vacancy based on further staffing changes, enrollment, or budget.

Position: Long-Term Substitute Grade 4 Teacher

Location: Harrington Elementary School

The dates of this assignment are from March 2, 2023, through June 23, 2023. These dates are subject to change.

General Description: The successful candidate will teach grade 4. The position requires that the individual hired must have knowledge of the developmental level of the students and the pedagogy required to implement academic programs. Candidate will coordinate efforts with specialists assigned to provide additional specific services; confer with parents to promote better understanding of the pupil and his/her environment; assist and guide ancillary personnel; attend meetings and prepare and maintain all related records and reports reflecting activities as required or directed. Perform other duties as directed or as responsibilities necessitate.

Massachusetts teacher license required.

Job Requirements
