Speech and Language pathologist to provide services to students with communication disorders enabling them to access the general education curriculum and participate in both school and community life. Applicant must be able to assess students using appropriate testing instruments, write reports, comply with federal guidelines as a service provider for students with disabilities. Applicant will participate in all aspects of the special education process and also be able to consult with school based professionals on issues related to communication disorders for children ages Pre-K through 12 (assignment for the 2023-24 school year TBD)
Candidates are expected to work with school-based teams to provide services to students in the least restrictive environment, with a priority for push-in, classroom-based services as appropriate.

Rhode Island Certification as a Speech and Language Pathologist required. Rhode Island Licensure as a Speech and Language Pathologist preferred but not required.
Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices preferred - minimally, must be willing to learn.
At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred
Bachelor degree preferred Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required |
