Oversees and monitors of assigned center-based classrooms to ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, Vermont Licensing Regulations and NAEYC Accreditation Criteria. Supports curriculum planning and implementation based on the Creative Curriculum framework, Vermont Early Learning Standards and Head Start School Readiness Goals. Assists in entering and maintaining Education, Disabilities and Mental Health data in Child Plus software. Assists in generating reports through Child Plus and Teaching Strategies Gold. Supports program implementation of the Pyramid Model for supporting children's social and emotional development. Ensures appropriate staffing; participates in the hiring and orientation of center staff. Provides support in classrooms as needed to maintain required ratios, and/or promote children's positive behaviors. Supervises lead teachers and provide resources and coaching to classroom teams. Monitors classroom files and support staff in completing required paperwork. Works collaboratively with center-based Family Support Specialists to support and enhance family engagement. Participates in the selection and placement of HS/EHS eligible children and families. Other duties as assigned by the Child Development Manager or Executive Director.

BA or BS in ECE or a related field. 5 years' experience working in a center-based ECE setting. Experience with staff supervision, staff development, and program administration in an early childhood setting.
At least 5 years of relevant experience preferred
Bachelor degree preferred Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required |
