Job Description
Anticipated FTE Special Education Paraprofessional for LaPerche Elementary School.

SATACE union position

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
•Toileting assistance may be required.
•Must be trained or willing to be trained in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention.
•Ability to collect student data.
•Ability to implement behavior intervention plans.
•Could at times include responsibilities of a job coach accompanying students into the community to work on vocational skills.

Raymond C. LaPerche is a kindergarten through grade five elementary school in Smithfield, Rhode Island. In addition to the general education program, LaPerche also includes an intensive special education and intensive resource elementary level programs for the district.
