2022-2023 School Year

DATE: August 5, 2022
TITLE: Food Service Liaison
DURATION: One Year Only Position – 2022-2023 School Year Only
FUNCTION:To assume the responsibility for being a liaison to the vendors for the food service department responsible to the Food Service Director.

1. Main contact for staff on equipment, contacting vendor when repair is needed and notify FSD
2. Notify FSD of food/paper/vending distributor issues (delivery/damaged/missing items) and contact vendor directly for substitutions, etc.
3. Maintain cafeteria substitute list and interview for substitutes/new staff as needed (work with FSD to select/schedule/hire)
4. Catering contact for kitchens/staff. Assist in planning and coordinating events
5. Work with FSD on events to schedule and maintain proper ordering
6. Visit with School Nutrition Leads 1x per month (unless requested otherwise by the FSD) to review program/menus
7. Work with FSD on menus and recipes according to USDA guidelines
8. Other duties and supports assigned by the FSD
1. Member of the Cafeteria Staff.
1. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Internet searching and evaluation of web sites
2. Ability to use Google Apps and Microsoft Office
