Main Office Clerk for Harrington Elementary School

Job Description:
  • Telephone coverage
  • Maintain all aspects of student and staff data in X2 database such as: Enrollments/withdrawals, attendance, schedules, grade posting periods, etc.
  • Manage entry of new students into the school (general population and special education)
  • Meet and greet parents and other visitors

  • Perform other duties as directed or as responsibilities necessitate.
Job Requirements
  • Competency using computers and various software (Microsoft Office, etc.)
  • Ability to multi-task in a busy environment
  • Promote friendly, professional environment for staff, students, parents, and other visitors
  • Return phone calls and emails promptly
  • Strong organizational skills
REPORTS TO: Principal

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Work year, 190 days. 5.5 hours/day. Salary and paid holidays to be determined by collective bargaining agreement.

The Charles D. Harrington Elementary School is one of four elementary schools within the Chelmsford Public School District. Our school services over 500 students in Kindergarten through grade four.
