DATE: June 22, 2022 TITLE: Special Education Applied Behavior Analysis Technician SALARY: $16.48/hour per AFSCME contract (probation rate) ($19.99/hour following probation period) DUTIES:
1.Implement daily individualized program protocols. 2.Discrimination training, skill acquisition training, natural environment training, etc. 3.Collect skill data – understand prompts hierarchies. 4.Graph skill data – familiarity with equal interval graphs, celeration charting. 5.Implementing ongoing behavior intervention plans. 6.Graph behavior data daily. 7.Analyze behavior data to report necessary modifications. 8.Utilize response prompts and stimulus prompts. 9.Conduct ongoing observations of student behavior. 10.Conduct scheduled observations of student performance. 11.Collect observational data. 12.Report on student performance (from graphs/observations) 13.Implement preference assessments (stimulus pairing & MSWO) 14.Implement ABLLS/VB-MAPP as needed. 15.Assist ABA classroom teacher with daily routines/activities. 16.Assist with all domains of students’ learning: academic, social, self-help, communication, gross motor, fine motor, etc. 17.Assist ABA classroom teacher as needed. 18.Assist Behavior Specialists as needed. 19.Participate in and implement SafetyCare training and strategies. 20. Responsible for supporting Activities of Daily Living (ADL) skills (i.e. walking, feeding, toileting, and/or transferring), as needed.

DiPietro Elementary School opened in 1989, originally named South Elementary School. The school has 22 classrooms with an enrollment of 444 students in kindergarten through third grade. The mission of DiPietro Elementary School is to provide a creative, supportive learning environment that meets the needs of individual students in which we maximize achievement, promote social competency, respect similarities as well as differences, and develop life-long learners who contribute positively to the community. QUALIFICATIONS:
1. At least one year experience working in a data-driven, ABA school program that utilizes a long-term systematic approach to
teaching based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (i.e.: NECC)
2. One year experience working directly under a BCBA or approved trainer (by the BCBA) for at least one school year in the capacity
of ABA technician.
3. Demonstrates verbal fluency and physical competencies in the areas outlined in the Bellingham Public School ABAT Training
Program
4. Is willing to participate in ongoing ABA trainings
5. Is physically able to participate and complete the District’s Behavioral Safety Training Program:
SafetyCare and meet the Physical Employment Requirements
