DATE: June 17, 2022 TITLE: Mentoring and Induction Program Steering Committee SALARY: Per Hour Stipend at the BTA Contracted Rate, subject to grant funding PURPOSE: Conduct an evaluation of the Mentoring and Induction Program's effectiveness, using the records and survey instruments collected over the past four years, and analyzing the data collected to make future improvements.
Representation from the following is requested:
Staff that have completed the Mentor Training and served in the role of mentor within the past 4 years.
Staff that have completed the First Year Induction Program within the past 4 years
Staff that have completed the Second and Third Year Teacher Program within the past 4 years
Staff responsible for the supervision and evaluation of Non-Professional status BTA members
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Scope of work:
Review the current Mentoring and Induction Requirements provided by the DESE
Review the components of Bellingham's current Mentoring and Induction Program
Review the records and surveys conducted over the past 4 years
Identify areas where the program can improve and grow in order to meet the needs of all stakeholders
Time commitment:
One meeting at the end of the school year to review the program and plan for the upcoming school year
