SUBJECT: Title I Lead Teacher – Mathematics
2 Positions - Anticipated Openings at Stall Brook Elementary School (1) and DiPietro Elementary School (1) for the
2022-2023 school year
SALARY: $3000 Stipend, subject to grant funding, one-year only position
FUNCTION: The Title I Lead Teacher is directly responsible to the building principal and the Title I Director. The position requires working with students, tutors, and staff members.

DUTIES:
1. Plan and oversee the Title I Program in eligible Title I schools.
2. Schedule student tutoring sessions and create schedules for the school’s Title I Math Tutors.
3. Assist with Math student assessments, data collection and analysis.
4. Collaborate with classroom teachers regarding student needs and
instruction and data collection and analysis.
5. Responsible for creation and distribution of parent Title I notifications including
progress reports, discontinuation notices, etc.
6. Responsible for planning and holding Title I parent meetings/workshops
throughout the school year and assisting with yearly district Title I events.
7. Process all required Title I paperwork and submit to the Title I Office
according to timelines.
8. Supervise the school’s Title I Math Tutors.
9. Assist the Title I Office in reviewing and revising Title I policies, procedures,
forms, compacts, composites, etc.
10. Adheres to the adopted policies and procedures of the Bellingham School
Committee.
11. Review and suggest materials/programs/apps needed for the Title I Program.
12. Incorporate available technology into the Title I program and
ensure the upkeep and safety of all technology.
13. Attend Title I staff meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Massachusetts certification in Elementary Education required.
2. Experience teaching Mathematics in a K-6 setting preferred.
3. Experience working in a Title I program preferred.
