DATE: May 2, 2022 TITLE: School Nutrition Team Member for Summer Programs (3 positions needed) SALARY: $21 per hour, approximately 16 hours per week, subject to grant funding DATES: August 8 - 11, 2022 and August 15 - 18, 2022 FUNCTION: To work with the Director of School Nutrition to plan and provide meals for students participating in the summer programs.
DUTIES: 1. Prepare and serve breakfast and lunch according to the planned menu and recipes for students enrolled in the summer programs 2. Provide accurate servings of products according to the National School Lunch Standards 3. Order necessary items weekly if needed 4. Transport and serve meals to students at all participating schools 5. Complete Daily Production records 6. Perform daily cleaning of all kitchen areas, including washing and sanitizing all serving, prepping, storage and eating areas, following all sanitation and safety procedures 7. Perform any other duties as determined by the Director of School Nutrition
QUALIFICATIONS: 1. ServeSafe Certification preferred 2. Experience in preparation of foods for a school nutrition program 3. Ability to prepare meals in large quantities 4. Ability to lift a minimum of forty (40) pounds 5. Ability to follow recipes, calculate large quantities and perform basic math skills 6. Demonstrate pleasant, customer-oriented, interpersonal, and communication skills 7. Must be available for all dates of the program
