TITLE: 2022-2023 Curriculum Development Work
SALARY: Per hour stipend at the contracted rate, subject to funding
JOB DESCRIPTION: Participants will articulate course units for content areas at specific grade levels using the Bellingham Templates in Google. Basic and advanced training in the use of these forms and/or curriculum development will be made available if requested. Participants may choose to work on any or all of the three stages outlined in the Curriculum Development Process.

Complete course or content area unit plans must include Stage I - Targeted learning standards, enduring understandings, essential questions, content, and skills. Stage II – Evidence of Learning - Upload or link unit assessments aligned to targeted learning standards and Stage III - Learning plan - outline format AND work must be uploaded to our District Shared Google drives for review when completed.

ELA teachers may choose to use this time familiarizing themselves and planning for the use of the newly adopted ELA Curriculum in grades Pre K-8, up to 10 hours.

Please include the course name (content) and grade level of the course you wish to develop with your application.
Other proposals for curriculum-related work will be considered.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
1. Must teach or have taught the specific course and grade level for the level to which the candidate is applying.
2. Must be a current member of the Bellingham professional staff.
