Long-Term Substitute 1.0 FTE Grade 4 CLASSROOM TEACHER - Winthrop School
August 29 - November 21
The Winthrop School is looking to add a dynamic intermediate level classroom teacher to its skillful, collaborative, and committed teaching staff for 12 weeks to start the school year.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in evidence and researched based elementary literacy and mathematics instruction, be well-versed in current best practices and demonstrate comfort integrating technology into instruction. Evidence of the ability to build a positive classroom community and collaborative partnerships with families and school teams also desired.

The Winthrop School has an enrollment of approximately 370 pupils in preschool through fifth grade. The school contains 17 classrooms, a cafeteria/auditorium, a gym, learning center, music room, art room, language arts center, technology center, principal's and secretary's office, a health office, and a library. The field behind the school provides ample space for childrens' play as well as playground equipment. Job Requirements
