POSITION TITLE: Health Science Technology Teacher
DAYS PER YEAR: 185 DAYS PER WEEK: 5 HOURS PER DAY: 7.75
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Delivering instruction of CTE courses within a two-year Health Science Technology program. This program prepares students for a variety of health care pathways including physical therapy, occupational therapy, chiropractic therapy, nursing, emergency medical services provider, and physician.
QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED:NH Department of Education Certification or Statement of
Eligibility. Minimum of three years’ professional experience within the health care field.
PREFERRED: Certification and/or Licensure in a nursing, allied health, or emergency medical services field. Master of Education in addition to the above requirements or willingness to pursue. Credentialed to instruct LNA and/or EMT certification programs. Additional years of documented work experience in healthcare-related field.
SALARY RANGE: Per NTA contract.
