Positions: Total number of positions to be determined by student enrollment
Salary: $33/Hour (contractual) or
  • $45/Hour (potential)
  • FUNDING CONTINGENT ON TOWN MEETING APPROVAL MAY 25, 2022
    Appointment may be made prior to salary determination
    Timesheets will be sent to reflect correct wages by June 3rd

    Program Description:
    Instruction will emphasize literacy, math, social and communication skills to address regression and reduce the time to recoup skills. All recommended therapies will be provided during this time.

    The number of Therapists, Specialists and Tutors required for each program will be determined by enrollment along with the total hours per week.

    Job Sharing will be considered for this position.


    Program Dates:
    07/05/2022 through 08/03/2022 (5 weeks)

    Days and Times:
    Monday through Wednesday (Week 1 will start on Tuesday due to the 4th of July holiday)
    Note: Some positions are Monday through Thursday – they are listed in detail below

    Preschool and Elementary
    8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

    Secondary
    9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

    In addition to the program hours, ESY Therapists, Specialists, Nurses, ELA/Math Tutors and Supervisors schedules will include 1 hour of prep per day to be scheduled before or after class hours, or in two thirty minute periods – one before, one after class hours.

    Prior to the start of the program, the ESY Therapists (S/L, OT and PT) will be required to attend a mandatory orientation meeting, via zoom, and will be given prep time to plan individual instruction. The total time not to exceed 4 hours.

    Speech and Language Pathologists – Middle and High School
    Location: Bellingham Memorial School
    Grade Level: Grades 4 through 12

    Occupational Therapists - Elementary
    Location: Stall Brook Elementary
    Grade Level: Preschool through Grade 3

    Occupational Therapists – Middle and High School
    Location: Bellingham Memorial School
    Grade Level: Grades 4 through 12

    ELA/Math Tutors - Elementary
    Location: Stall Brook Elementary
    Grade Level: Grade 1 through Grade 3
