Date: March 8, 2022 Department: Special Education Extended School Year (ESY) Title: ESY ABA Teacher Positions: Total number of positions to be determined by student enrollment Salary: $33/Hour (contractual) or$45/Hour (potential) FUNDING CONTINGENT ON TOWN MEETING APPROVAL MAY 25, 2022 Appointment may be made prior to salary determination Timesheets will be sent to reflect correct wages by June 3rd
Program Description: To teach children across the autism spectrum using techniques, such as applied behavior analysis (ABA), to ensure that students gain skills in academics, socialization, communication with the goal of building independence in all areas of their lives. All recommended therapies will be provided during this time.
Program Dates: 07/05/2022 through 08/04/2022 (5 weeks)
Days and Times: Monday through Thursday (Week 1 will start on Tuesday due to the 4th of July holiday)
Preschool and Elementary 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Secondary 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
In addition to the program hours, a teacher’s schedule will include 1 hour of prep per day to be scheduled before or after class hours, or in two thirty minute periods – one before, one after class hours.
Prior to the start of the program, all appointed teachers will be required to attend a mandatory orientation meeting, via zoom, and will be given prep time to plan individual instruction. The total time not to exceed 4 hours.

Preschool and Elementary ABA Program Location: Stall Brook Elementary Description: ABA Special Education Teachers for grades Preschool to 3rd Grade. To teach children across the autism spectrum using techniques, such as applied behavior analysis (ABA), to ensure that students gain skills in academics, socialization, communication with the goal of building independence in all areas of their lives.
Middle School ABA Program Location: Bellingham Memorial School Description: 1 ABA Special Education Teachers for grades 4 through 7. To teach children across the autism spectrum using techniques, such as applied behavior analysis (ABA), to ensure that students gain skills in academics, socialization, communication with the goal of building independence in all areas of their lives.
High School ABA Program Location: Bellingham Memorial School Description: 1 ABA Special Education Teachers for grades 8 through 12. To teach children across the autism spectrum using techniques, such as applied behavior analysis (ABA), to ensure that students gain skills in academics, socialization, communication with the goal of building independence in all areas of their lives.
Qualifications: 1.Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Certification is required. 2.Preference will be given to applicants teaching students with mild to moderate special needs, students on the Autism Spectrum and students with Developmental Disabilities.
