ANNOUNCEMENT OF AVACANCY FOR THE
2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR

COVID19 Compensatory Services Provider
SOMERVILLE HIGH SCHOOL

Essential Skills:
•DESE Licensure in Core Academics, Special Education, School Adjustment Counselor, Speech and Language Pathologist strongly preferred or commensurate experience working in these areas.
•Bachelor’s degree
•Experience teaching/providing related services and knowledge of specific subject area including specialized instructional strategies.

Responsibilities:
•Specialized instruction 1:1 or in small groups (up to 5 students) who qualify for Covid19 Compensatory Services in academic, executive functioning, speech, counseling, or other goal area as determined by the IEP team.
•Track student progress and communicate progress to assigned special education liaison, maintain attendance records, communicate with families, as needed, to schedule services.

Terms of Employment:
Yearly Appointment
•Out of regular school hours
•Scheduled School Year (2021-2022 school year)
•Up to 10 hours per week
•$27 per hour worked

Position Reports to: The Director of Special Education and/or designee
