DATE: JUNE 7, 2021
TITLE: Curriculum Review and Development Work
SALARY: Per hour stipend at the contracted rate subject to funding
JOB DESCRIPTION: Participants will articulate course units for content areas at specific grade levels using the Bellingham Templates in Google. Basic and advanced training in the database will be made available if requested. Participants may choose to work on any or all of the three stages outlined in the Curriculum Development Process.
Complete course or content area unit plans must include:
Stage I - Targeted learning standards, enduring understandings, essential questions, content, and skills.
Stage II – Evidence of Learning - Upload or link unit assessments aligned to targeted learning standards.
Stage III - Learning plan - outline format
Please include with your application the course name (content) and grade level of the course you wish to develop.

Participants choosing to work on the History/Social Science Review must follow the templates developed by the Review Team. These documents include the Practice Standards review, the Guiding Principles review, and the Content Standards review.

AREAS OF NEED:
1. Common Assessments for High School Courses to use in the Fall to assess gaps in student learning and assist in planning for accelerated learning and gap-closing measures.
2. All subject areas - PreK - 12.
3. Adapting courses for remote and/or blended learning opportunities.
4. Curriculum Review Work in History/Social Science

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Must teach or have taught the specific course and grade level for each course developed. Must be a current member of the Bellingham professional staff.
