ANNOUNCEMENT OF A VACANCY FOR THE
2021 ELEMENTARY SUMMER SCHOOL

Summer Elementary Intervention Program - Teachers
DISTRICT WIDE

Summer Elementary Intervention Teacher:
•For students entering grades 1-6 Teacher (MA DESE Elementary License in appropriate grade level or as a reading specialist)
•Provide reading and/or math intervention to small groups of students during their “x-block” intervention time during the Community Schools Adventure Camp
•Support the effort to assess all students to determine eligibility for intervention
•Training in research-based math and reading interventions will be provided

Terms of Employment:
•Monday – Friday Schedule (5 weeks, 4 days a week), 8:30am-1pm

All Staff: There is a mandatory Orientation Day in June, date is TBD
and a mandatory Professional Development Day in June, date is TBD

Reports to: Director of the Elementary Summer School Intervention Program and K-8 Curriculum Coordinator/Title I Director
