ANNOUNCEMENT OF A VACANCY FOR THE
2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR

Temporary Special Education Paraprofessionals
All Grades / All Levels – Thru 6/30/21
SOMERVILLE PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Job Goal: SPED Paraprofessionals will assist students with general classroom activities under the guidance of the Director of Special Education or designee and the classroom teacher. SPED Paraprofessionals will also support students’ physical and emotional needs and safety, and help students learn based on their individual abilities.

We are currently seeking individuals that are able to commit to working in a learning environment that is remote, hybrid or full in-person learning and can change at any time depending on the daily reports regarding COVID19.

Responsibilities: As per the Somerville Teachers Association, Instructional Paraprofessional Unit Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Position Reports to: School Principal and Director of Special Education or designee
