Job Goal: The Unidos Program is a two-way bilingual program, part of a team of two teachers
with a goal of developing literacy, in both Spanish and English, while developing English and Spanish speakers’ understanding of each other’s cultures and backgrounds. The Unidos Program increases students’ capacity to function bi-culturally and to complete the grade level curriculum in both languages.

Qualifications:
•Appropriate Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Educator's Licensure is required. SEI Endorsement Required; SPED, ESL or ELL Licensure Preferred.
•Bilingual/Multilingual Speaker – English/Spanish

Responsibilities: As per the Somerville Teachers Association, Unit A Collective Bargaining Agreement

Position Reports to: School Principal and District Administrator of English Language Learner Education
