Job Description
The Orleans Southwest Supervisory Union seeks a dynamic educator for the position of Innovation Coach to work with teachers in a coaching capacity and help them transform their practice by implementing instructional strategies that foster learning that is BASIC: Blended, Authentic, Student-driven, Inquiry-based, and Cooperative.

The successful candidate will have a commitment to education and demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary to support staff in the implementation of instructional strategies that cultivate Learner Agency through Reflective Practice. They will have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the current state of education technology, will be conversant with a range of educational apps, assessment tools, and strategies, and will be able to help teachers to differentiate their lessons according to student needs.

Job Requirements
-Vermont certification as a licensed educator required -Educational Technology Specialist endorsement, or willingness to obtain endorsement within two years preferred -Demonstrated success as a classroom teacher -Knowledge and understanding of adult learners and demonstrated ability to motivate and teach adults in a variety of instructional settings -Demonstrated ability to use of a variety of technologies (including Google Apps for Education and learning management systems in general), and application through coursework, workshop participation, and completed projects and products
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Master degree preferred
  • Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required
