ABA/Behavior Technician Substitute

DATE:August 12, 2020
TITLE:Special Education Applied Behavior Analysis/Behavior Technician Substitute
SALARY: $14.00/hour

Day to Day Substitute, assignments vary based on need

Bellingham Public Schools
Bellingham Early Childhood Program (Pre-K) 2 locations 1-at DiPietro and 1-at Stall Brook
DiPietro Elementary School (Grades K-3)
Stall Brook Elementary School (Grades K-3)
Memorial School (Grades 4-7)
High School (Grades 8-12)


DUTIES:

1.Implement daily individualized program protocols.
2.Discrimination training, skill acquisition training, natural environment training, etc.
3.Collect skill data – understand prompts hierarchies.
4.Graph skill data – familiarity with equal interval graphs, celeration charting.
5.Implementing ongoing behavior intervention plans.
6.Graph behavior data daily.
7.Analyze behavior data to report necessary modifications.
8.Utilize response prompts and stimulus prompts.
9.Conduct ongoing observations of student behavior.
10.Conduct scheduled observations of student performance.
11.Collect observational data.
12.Report on student performance (from graphs/observations)
13.Implement preference assessments (stimulus pairing & MSWO)
14.Implement ABLLS/VB-MAPP as needed.
15.Assist ABA classroom teacher with daily routines/activities.
16.Assist with all domains of students’ learning: academic, social, self-help, communication, gross motor, fine motor, etc.
17.Assist ABA classroom teacher as needed.
18.Assist Behavior Specialists as needed.

Position Type: Part-time
Positions Available: 5
Salary: $14 to $14 Per Hour

Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS: 1.At least one year experience working in a data-driven, ABA school program that utilizes a long-term systematic approach to teaching based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (i.e.: NECC) 2.Preference given for experience working directly under a BCBA or approved trainer (by the BCBA) in the capacity of ABA technician. 3.
