Art Teacher
Rutland Intermediate School

Rutland City Public Schools seeks an enthusiastic visual arts teacher for a full time elementary position. The successful candidate will teach grades 3-6. Applicants should be familiar with the National Art Standards and proficiency based grading system and have the ability to implement a meaningful age-appropriate skill based curriculum. We are seeking an individual who is willing to be part of a team effort to support the education of all students. The Rutland Public Schools and the community support and value the arts. We strive to nurture the interests of each student in and through all areas of the curriculum. We are looking for a self-motivated flexible team player. Applicants with a master’s degree or higher are preferred.

The applicant must hold, or be eligible for, licensure as an Art Teacher by the Vermont Agency of Education. Position to commence August 2020.
