Job Description
Please note that this position will be responsible for teaching P.E. in elementary schools in the district. If this position requires coverage at two schools on the same day, a travel block will be built in to the schedule.

Educates students in physical fitness and health education
Enhances motor skill development and demonstrates appropriate personal and social conduct used in physical activity settings
Works in collaboration with Physical Education Department in planning a balanced physical education program
Uses appropriate assessments to measure students' growth and learning of physical education concepts
Communicates effectively with parents, teachers and other school personnel on student progress
Communicates with Director of Health, Wellness and Counseling on departmental needs
Performs other duties as assigned by Building Principals or Director of Health, Wellness and Counseling

Job Requirements
Must hold the appropriate license in Physical Education.

The first work day for 2019-2020 school year is August 28, 2019. However, all new teachers are required to attend training and orientation before this date.
