POSITION: Summer Daycare Program ESP I/Daycare Workers
5 full time positions
3 part time positions

LOCATION: Ezra H. Baker School

SALARY: Per DYRSAA Collective Bargaining Agreement

EFFECTIVE: June 24, 2019 - August 20, 2019
Hours to vary:
Full Time – over 30 hours per week
Part Time – up to 30 hours per week

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Provide supervision of students
-Ensure student safety at all times.
-Lead various activities with students (indoor and outdoor; with both large and small groups.
-Communicate with parents, staff and volunteers.
-Maintain confidentiality of students and families.
-Communicate concerns regarding students to Daycare Coordinator in a timely fashion while maintaining confidentiality.
-Participate in activities including swimming and outdoor games.
-Communicate respectfully with students, parents, and staff.
-Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Looking for motivated and dependable individuals to work in our Summer Daycare Program. Looking for 5 full-time and 3 part-time candidates. Candidates must have High School Diploma or GED; Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree preferred. Experience working with young children (Grade K-3; ages 5-9 years old) as a teacher assistant, daycare provider or school volunteer preferred. CPR/First Aid certification not necessary but a plus. Citizenship, residency or work VISA in US required. Must pass necessary CORI and background check. All applicants must be fingerprinted (or have had fingerprints done for another school district) prior to hire. The cost to the applicant is $35.
