TITLE: Course Curriculum Development Using Bellingham Templates in Google
SALARY: Per hour stipend at the contracted rate subject to funding

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Participants will articulate course units for content areas at specific grade levels using the Bellingham Templates in Google. Basic and advanced training in the database will be made available if necessary.
Complete course or content area unit plans include:
Stage I – Targeted learning standards, enduring understandings, essential questions, content and skills and Stage III resources if available
Stage II – Upload or link unit assessments aligned to targeted learning standards
Stage III - Learning plan - outline only
Please include with your application the course name (content) and grade level of the course you wish to develop.

AREAS OF NEED:

1. Science and Social Studies Integrated Units K-5: Grade level teams to develop maps and units of study for science and social studies integrating reading and writing standards. These units would align Making Meaning, Being an Writer/Empowering Writers with either Science or Social Studies units based on the frameworks/standards for each area.

2. Math Units:
  • Grade level teams to develop maps and units of study for Bridges K-5 based on the current math
    frameworks/standards.
  • Grade level teams to develop maps and units of study for 6-7 Glencoe based on the current math
    frameworks/standards.
  • High School math teachers to develop maps and units of study for all math courses based on the
    current math frameworks/standards.

    3. History/Social Science Units incorporating the new frameworks/standards at all levels.


    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
    Must teach or have taught the specific course and grade level for each course developed.
    Must be a current member of the Bellingham professional staff.
