Job Description
Manchester-Essex Middle School is seeking a part-time middle school cafeteria/recess monitor for the 2019-20 school year. You will work with students for approximately 7.5 hours per week. Duties include monitoring students in Grades 6 through 8 (over 3, separate half hour lunch and recess periods) to ensure a safe and positive environment. Expectations include interacting with students in a positive manner, providing feedback and redirection to students when necessary, and collaborating with school administration and the school nurse when disciplinary or health issues arise. The ideal candidate will be positive, flexible, and enjoy working with students. At times there may be opportunities to work a half day or a full day as a substitute teacher, depending on the school's daily substitute teacher needs.

Job Requirements
Part time hourly position: 5 days per week (Monday-Friday), 1.5 hours per day (10:30am-12:00pm)
This person will be offered additional hours as a substitute teacher when needed
