Job Description
The Monomoy Regional School District is looking to hire a dynamic educator to serve in the role of Elementary Science Teacher. The successful candidate will work with curriculum leaders to develop a K-4 scope and sequence for science instruction during a once per week science “special”. Additionally, the successful candidate will work closely with classroom teachers to integrate science themes into the classroom to extend learning generated in the science classroom as well as collaborate with the technology and library teachers to develop a well-rounded STEM program for students. The successful candidate will also build upon connections and relationships with local scientific organizations (Mass Audubon, Cape Fisherman’s Alliance, Chatham Marconi Maritime Center, etc.).

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Licensure - Massachusetts Elementary 1-6
Licensure - Elementary Science 1-6 (preferred)
A proven track record of professional collaboration
A demonstrated knowledge and passion for elementary science, including strong knowledge and understanding of the MA Science and Technology Engineering Curriculum Framework
