ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCY FOR THE
2018-2019 SCHOOL YEAR

BOKS Program Assistant Trainer

Job Goal: To lead the BOKS (Building Our Kids Success) before school physical activity program

Responsibilities:
• Review BOKS Training Manual and understand how to execute all lessons & related activities
• Be able to support children in fitness related activities
• Support and possibly present nutrition component of program
• Support the lead trainer to lead, manage and oversee the flow of class including explanation and enforcement of safety procedures and “participant rules” for class
• Take daily attendance
• Help choose and announce Fit Kid of the Week and distribute end of session certificates
• Assist in the distribution and collection of surveys, as requested
• Promote the program to teachers, students and families at the school

Qualifications:
• Interest in health, wellness and fitness
• Experience working with elementary aged students
• Available during before school hours (7am-8am)
• Must be flexible and be able to think on your feet
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Must be available to attend BOKS training
• CPR certification (preferred, not required)

Terms of Employment:
• 1 hour/day
• 3 days a week for two 12 week sessions
