WINTER HILL COMMUNITY SCHOOL

Summer Social Worker:
Responsibilities:
1. Respond to attendance issues and address social issues.
2. Reduce immediate risks of dropping out of school.
3. Offer therapeutic services related to ongoing issues.
4. Significantly enhance the comprehensive behavioral health of students during the
summer school program.

Qualifications:
1. Appropriate DESE Educator License for Social Worker

Terms of Employment:
Monday – Friday Schedule, 7:30am-1:00pm
Start Date: July 1, 2019
End Date: July 26, 2019
Stipend: $3,440

All Staff: There is a mandatory Orientation Day on June 6, 2019 (3:00pm-5:00pm)
and a mandatory Professional Development Day on June 28, 2019

Reports to: Director of the Elementary Summer School Program or designee

Disclosure: All positions listed are subject to funding availability and student enrollment; courses may be cancelled due to lack of enrollment.
