Job Description
DRRSD is seeking individuals who are cheerful, energetic, professional and team oriented to serve as per diem substitutes throughout the district. The ability to engage students at various levels and maintain safety and security of the classroom are a must. A qualified applicant will have experience working with children preferably in a school setting. Documented coursework in education is preferred but applicants with extensive experience with children will also be considered. We are hiring or both teacher and paraprofessional Substitute positions.

Employment is contingent on CORI and Fingerprinting background checks.

The district uses Aesop/Frontline Absence Management as a computer and phone based scheduling system making it easy for substitutes to choose assignments base don personal preference for grade level and availability. Candidates who apply via School Spring will be given first preference but paper applications are also available at the DRRSD Central Office.

Daily rate of pay is:
substitutes with a MA DESE certification -$90 for the first 20 days and $95 after 20 days of assignments
substitutes without certification - $80 for the first 20 days and $85 after 20 days of assignments

Job Requirements
