Job Description

Elementary Summer School Program

Program Goal: Assist the Director of the Elementary School Summer Program with the daily functions of
the Elementary Summer School Program and ensure that students are engaged and learning

Responsibilities (commencing in March, 2019):
• Assist in supervising summer teachers and all instructional activities.
• Assist in coordinating the administration of the elementary summer school program which includes student registration, class scheduling and teacher assignment.
• Assist in the screening, hiring and assigning of summer school teachers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Elementary School Program

Terms of Employment:
• Summer school schedule: TBD
• Mandatory Orientation and Professional Development Days: TBD

Reports to: Director of the Elementary Summer School Program

Disclosure: Subject to funding availability and student enrollment; courses may be cancelled due to lack of enrollment.
