We are a comprehensive high school that enhances academics through diverse and rigorous coursework, arts and athletics to prepare students for college and career. The endeavor continues to increase student opportunities for preparation for college (AP, Dual, AVID, CTE). Each year we reevaluate the effectiveness of each program and make changes as warranted based on college and career requirements. We have increased the number of course offerings in both Advanced Placement and dual enrollment. These courses are ABOR approved and allow students to earn college credit prior to graduating high school. Furthermore, we keep abreast of current job trends that are growing in Surprise and Arizona. Valley Vista High School serves the communities of the Northwest Valley and is conveniently located in the heart of Surprise on the northwest corner of Greenway Road and Parkview Place. |

Additional Benefits Information Staff can earn up to an additional $4,900 in performance measures. Hard-to-fill stipends up to $3,000 and years or service stipends may be additional funding when available. As a Dysart staff member, you are our most valuable asset. We are committed to providing you with the most competitive and cost-effective benefits programs possible. You are eligible for benefits if you are a Certified employee working full time in either a contracted .5 FTE or 1.0 FTE position, or if you are a classified employee working 6 or more hours in one position. Benefits are effective depending on the position or contracted start date. If this date is from the 1st - 15th of the month, benefits are effective the 1st of the following month.
