Orleans Central Supervisory Union is seeking Special Education Teachers for 3 of our Elementary/Middle schools (Barton Academy & Graded School, and Irasburg Village School)

These positions are also open to teachers who have a regular ed teaching license and who would be willing to work as a special education teacher while on a provisional license. Our district does have tuition money available to cover classes per our teacher collective bargaining agreement for those seeking licensure through this pathway.

    The Orleans Central Supervisory Union is comprised of six elementary school districts (Albany, Barton, Brownington, Glover, Irasburg, Orleans), the Central Orleans Family Education Center, and Lake Region Union High School. We currently have 1150 students enrolled in our entire district, and we employ a total of 300 staff members.     Job Requirements

    • Candidate must have at least a bachelor degree and be eligible to teach in the state of Vermont according to the Vermont Agency of Education licensure and teaching requirement.
