Job Description

St. John School is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as the Early Education Director. As a member of the administration team, the Early Education Director will work with the Principal and assist with direct management of day to day operations of our Early Education program. The candidate would be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the current Pre-K program of 4 classes, as well as thinking strategically about supporting the programs expansion through recruiting new families and building a greater awareness of the St. John School Early Education Program throughout the Boston area and beyond. Additionally, they would be responsible for cultivating community partnerships and be the point of contact for families who are interested in enrolling in the Early Education program.

The Director of Early Education would also work directly with the Pre-K teachers, in support of assisting students with behavioral or emotional issues and support with managing students towards developmentally appropriate growth with behavior in these areas. They would also oversee curriculum implementation in PreK in support of ensuring continuity between PreK and kindergarten so students are prepared for the developmental expectations of kindergarten curriculums. The Director of Early Education would also be responsible for ensuring the content our website reflects full scope of the program and all information is up to date.

The position includes 15 days vacation during the summer vacation period. Starting salary $55,000.
