Title:           Concession Stand Manager
Location:
 
Qualifications: 
  1. High School Diploma or equivalent required. 

  2. Ability to perform basic clerical skills and understand cash handling processes.  

  3. Ability to prioritize, organize, and provide general direction to others.

  4. Ability to understand the general operation of a kitchen to include oversight of cleanliness and sanitation.

  5. Ability to work independently and/or lead a group of individuals


Reports to:           Activities Director
 
Job Goal:                To operate a clean, safe, organized and profitable concession stand, while providing excellent customer service and a positive work environment.
 
Performance Responsibilities:
 
  1. Oversight and operation of the concession stand. 

  2. Back-up for ordering concession stand supplies.

  3. Track the process of all vendor/sales receipts.

  4. Rotate merchandise and assist with maintaining accurate inventories. 

  5. Supervise the set-up and closing of the concession stand for each event.

  6. Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the stand and equipment.

  7. Trains and supervise all stand volunteers. 

  8. Ensure all cash receipts from the concession stand are accurate and processed in a timely manner.

  9. Responsible for following the cash handling processes of the District.  

  10. Address all concerns and problems with the Activities Director in a timely manner. 

  11. Develop and maintain an effective level of communication with appropriate personnel.

  12. Communicate effectively with all volunteers and management.

  13. Perform other duties as may from time to time be assigned.

    Physical Demands:

    1. Must be able to physically work in a standing position for prolonged periods and walk much of the time during the day; work in warm surroundings

    2.Must be capable occasionally of lifting up to 50 pounds to waist level.

    3. Must be capable occasionally of carrying 25 pounds at waist level for a distance of 100 feet.

    4. Must present appropriate appearance and personal cleanliness suited to working in close proximity to students and adults.

    5.  Must be able to work with interruptions during a work shift.

    6. Must be capable of working with individuals with different personalities, capabilities, and physical and mental limitations.

    7. Must be capable of working in a noisy environment.

    8. May be required to stand throughout the day or during school events.
     

    Terms of Employment:

    1. Eleven Month Employment  - 30 hours/week
    2. Hourly wage - $18.26/hour

    Evaluation:    Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Classified Personnel.
