Creswell School District is seeking a Boys JV 2 Basketball Coach to join the outstanding coaching staff at Creswell High School.
Position open until filled. Applicant screening begins immediately.
Stipends will be paid at the end of the sport season.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High school Graduate
• Previous basketball experience as a coach or competitor
• Skills in working positively with adolescents
• Good communication skills
• Successful completion of fingerprint screening
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Teach fundamentals of basketball
• Supervise practices and games
• Work cooperatively with other coaches to develop young athletes potential
GENERAL AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
• Assume a supervisory and teaching role with athletes
• Supervise and coach sub-varsity players in practice and game settings
• Assist the head coach in development of the program
QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED
• Background knowledge of basketball and teaching
• Familiarity with programs and athletes at Creswell High School
