Phoenix-Talent School District #4 is seeking applications for the position of:

Health/Physical Education Teacher - Talent Middle School


This temporary 1.0 FTE long-term substitute position starts Nov 15, 2022.

SALARY: As determined by negotiated salary schedule


JOB DESCRIPTION: Teach PE and Health classes to middle school students (6-8)


  1. Valid Oregon Teaching License with Health and PE
  2. Highly qualified according to the federal
  3. Preference may be given to those who are bilingual in Spanish and
  4. Experience with PLCs, best assessments and classroom practices highly
  5. Physical demands needed: ability to communicate with students, co-workers, and the public; ability to communicate over the telephone; ability to respond to telephones, bells, students, co- workers, ; ability to respond to classroom disturbances, visual cues, student requests, etc.; ability to read written material; ability to operate office equipment; ability to carry or lift light loads (25 lbs)
